Red Pump Charlotte is gearing up for its 5th Annual Red Pump/Red Tie Affair on December 7, 2013. This will be an affair to remember. Join us for fashion, fun and philanthropy to benefit the work of The Red Pump Project and to commemorate World AIDS Day.
The evening includes a cocktail reception, silent auction, Red Pump Award ceremony, fashion show, live performances and more!
The Red Pump/Red Tie Affair is a signature event for The Red Pump Project. It helps further our mission to raise awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS on women and girls, ensuring that women are empowered with accurate knowledge about HIV/AIDS and the issues surrounding it.
One of the special features of the evening is an awards ceremony to honor a female community leader who has dedicated her time and energy to fighting the battle against AIDS. Each year The Red Pump Award is given to a woman who personifies what The Red Pump Project is all about—delivering education and promoting awareness.
This year’s event is particularly significant because it’s the official kickoff to Red Pump’s year-long celebration of FIVE YEARS of empowering and educating women and girls about impact of HIV/AIDS!
